Anyone else notice that teen!Dean did the Solo Tear of Manpain™??? And I'm really pretty sure from the same eye?

For reals, though, I enjoyed the episode overall. Aside from the fact that they keep bastardizing John and the boys' childhoods the further we get on in this show, I thought it was a nice little MOTW type episode. The case itself seemed kinda blah, but at least it wasn't overly crazy ... though during the lawnmower scene, I kept thinking "please don't cut off the kid's hand, please don't cut off the kid's hand, please don't cut off the kid's hand, please don't cut off the kid's hand, please don't cut off the kid's hand." I legitimately thought they might not do it and were just ramping up tension.

Reminds me pretty well of my reaction to the elevator scene in It's a Terrible Life.
