I am surviving, yes I am. I wound up getting about 75% of my proposal done and out the door yesterday to the St. Paul office and we're wrapping up the last major section today, which I'll email to them and they'll print it there. Of course it's the most difficult one because A) it's the approach and I'm not a technical specialist, B) I'm waiting on said technical specialists to send me the last few pages of it, and C) said technical specialists dropped the ball on the first 13 pages and so I wound up writing and designing the whole thing ... I should get paid extra for writing the technical parts when it's so not my job. I mean, there are 8 sections to this proposal; I was in charge of 6 ... like that wasn't enough? No, I had to do a 7th because no one else could get it right, no matter how many times we discussed it.

Ahem.

So. I was glad I could leave yesterday before 6pm and not have to work at night, and thus I drank, and drank, and drank, and I'm being punished for it today. So sleepy and thirsty and my muscles feel like jello, and yeah. Except I still have to finish that one section. Hrmph.

Tomorrow I'll have my review, which could seem poorly timed with my nervous breakdown of the last week or two, but I think it might actually work to my favor. Bosslady pointedly told me that she's worried about me, that she knows I'm at my wits' end, and she doesn't want me to go anywhere ... and it was said rather sad and emotionally, so it's not like she was just giving me a bull shit line.

This weekend I'm going to Milwaukee with my mom as a belated birthday present, then I get Monday and Tuesday off to just do whatever I want! I should clean my apartment and do laundry, given I'll have houseguests next weekend and two weekends after that ... but we'll see, lol.
