Background: Over here I offered up timestamps, wrote a bunch, then got stalled with sleep and work and RL. Finally writing for akintay, Why I'm Talking to You Verse, something with them being engaged.
Note: To preface this, I'm kind of a font snob when I'm on the clock. Having to design and layout marketing stuff, my boss and I mock many, many typefaces at work, relying on only a few trusted kinds. I figure, as a marketing person, Jensen would, too. So this was born from that, and inspired by this, which makes me LOL constantly. I'm pretty sure Jensen would write that note.

SO. Funny thing happened tonight. I finally did my taxes (I'm usually not this bad at timing) and found out I owe the state for the first time in my taxpaying career. WTF? So I got haughty and defiant over the matter and then I wrote this.

Some people have been turned onto Why I'm Talking to You and commenting, so I decided to reread this and I've decided it just might be my favorite verse yet. Tied with soccer, I dunno, I fuckin' adore Nathan, I really do. But really, this was my first venture into the fandom so it's got a corner of my heart, and yet even while rereading, I'm like 'wow, I love these guys.'

This kinda makes me want to write a zillion timestamps of this verse now. I don't necessarily know that I'm asking for you to prompt me, but I'm not adverse to it (hi, this is your warning that I've been drinking) ... I have to finish not-so-sekrit Christmas fic, but I'm willing to put timestamps on the burner.

So tell me why you love this verse and THEN add what you'd love to see about it. And I'll do what I can :-D

Okay, I had thought of this before, and recently 13chapters wanted ideas on something to write but not within her own writing because she hates Soccer Shorts for whatever reason (she is insane for that statement alone) and hasn't finished her big AU yet ... so ...
