Back at work, ho hum

So very sad to have said goodbye to bertee after four solid days of fangirl shenanigans, and then zuben_eschamali this morning after 36 hours. I may be a little Supernaturaled out, and quite tired and in need of detox after drinking for four days straight ... but it was very much worth it!

Here I am back at work, back to the grind, back to real deadlines. To tell you how great this is going to go ... my boss is out for a few days, working on a Very Important Project, and one of the local sales managers asked me in the elevator if I'd already set up a phone call for a new assignment I have ... uh, I've been gone since Thursday, I told him, and he didn't seem to think that was a good enough excuse.

Oh work, how I did not miss thee.
