Overall, I liked it, but had issues, but then it just dawned on me that I'm ALWAYS going to have issues. So from now on, as long as I like the main storyline and the boys, I will give it a thumbs up.

So, my buddy and I are discussing SHOW on Facebook and I'm curious as to everyone else's thoughts on the subject. Spoilers for 5.03 and general discussion of how the future could go.

I Fought the Law
Jensen Ackles feels trapped in Richardson, Texas, living according to others' expectations and doing his best to abide by the law. He longs for more excitement in his life, and turns to tracking down outlaws, earning himself a badge and a good reputation. But the men he captures seem more alive than he could ever be, and when the infamous Jared makes himself known in Richardson, Jensen makes a decision that changes his life forever.

I'm not a fan of western stories - well some are done really well and are entertaining, but most of them just bore me with the slow pacing. I could only watch so much Deadwood until I gave up on the whole thing. ANYWAY, this moves itself along and even as she sets up the world and characters and background, it's so interesting that you become instantly engrossed in it all. On top of it, the boys are men, and outlaws, and they act that way. It fits the western genre perfectly with how it so doesn't hit you over the head with an oar to explain what's going on or how everyone feels. You get it with the short explanations.

OH HECK YOU KNOW WHAT? JUST GO READ ALL HER FICS. I love Forty-Three Days (awesome J2 where hellhounds are on Jensen's ass and they try to survive that, life imitating art as Jared tries to save Jensen). Her porn is MOOOOOST excellent. And everything in her fic 100 table is beautiful, smutty, hilarious, and perfect.

**I have been pretty good in justifying J2 into any movie or TV show, somehow finding characters they can similarly portray. However, Always Sunny in Philadelphia is a total brainfart, likely because none of them have any redeeming qualities whatsoever.

**I kind of hate the start of the new TV season because I have WAY too many shows DVRing and I can't keep any of them very long before everything starts getting deleted. Downside to having HD is less space on the DVR.

**I can't decide between going to sleep at 11pm or staying up to watch all these damned shows and get me some snacks.
