(no subject)

Am finally caught up to The Walking Dead and WOW. There were a lot of WTF moments that were good and yet oh so bad. I hated Shane for the entire two seasons. Absolutely HATED HIM. I couldn't stand anything he said or did. Alternatively, after a while, the Rick started grating on me as well as Laurie. I get that you're going to be a supportive wife, but JFC have a backbone and insist on more things than telling Andrea she should be pulling her weight in the kitchen. That annoyed the hell outta me, IDK. I wound up only liking characters who weren't even doing anything anymore (lol), like Carol, Dale, and Glenn. Though Glenn has his moments. I love him a lot. And I think I would spend most nights curled up at Dale's side and let him father me to death because he seems like he would have some amazing stories to tell.

For as much as a lot of this show bothers me (I kept yelling in my mind at people for being 'fucking idiots'! Don't they know to never split up! Every time Sam and Dean get into trouble, it's because they split up!), I have to give it props for eliciting very deep,visceral reactions to things going on. Early S2 moments with Carl made me all OMG DDDD:, bits with Sophia made me whimper oh no, I literally yelled at my TV with things with Dale. So, kudos on that, Walking Dead.

So now I have to catch up to other TV shows that I never gave a chance. A friend recommended American Horror Story but I've heard both bad and VERY BAD reactions to that show from both family and online friends. What say you?
