Title: Begin to Begin Again
Summary: Years after Supernatural ends, Jensen realizes that his job isn’t the only thing missing. He’s divorced, a lame-duck father, and living alone. He wakes often from long-ago memories of the boots and leather jacket he filled out back when he had purpose, dreams of the connection he had with the one who stood beside him through it all. When Jensen finds a spark of himself while reconnecting with his daughter, he is determined to make this new feeling stick with a cross-country trek in the driver's seat of the Impala.
Even as he’s weighted down by his own growing pains post-Supernatural, Jared thinks Jensen has lost his mind, thinks he has to save Jensen from himself. Jared meets him in the middle of Michigan, yet soon finds himself falling into the same luxurious dream of seeing the country with nothing but time and pavement ahead of them. As Jensen and Jared rediscover themselves and their friendship, they uncover more between them that awakens buried feelings and lights a fire between them.

In short ... Jensen, fixes up baby then road trips like a mad man, eventually dragging Jared out to join him like Sam and Dean did all those years before. I've wanted to write this one for a few years, or at least just had a really soft, fuzzy idea about it, and now it's finally a story. That still needs more scenes to fill it out, but it's there. :D
In other news, I was catching up on Modern Family and once the last episode aired, Hulu put The Mindy Project on and I was like 'eh, let's see what this all about ...' and two days later, I'm almost done with the first season and am super duper in love with the show. I'm only bummed that I'm so far behind yet have known about certain relationships from random internetty stuff so I know where some things are headed. Le sigh.
