dugindeepI have been in Atlanta, at Dragon*Con since Thursday. I didn't really mention it because I did not plan on enjoying myself as much as I did! I was like 'oh, yeah, there are a few lil things I'll go see, and I'll visit with ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
breakinporcelan and dauntdraws for a spell and it'll be a fun li'l getaway in a new town. BUT OMG. Aside from all the awful humidity and sweating and walking up hills and standing in lines, it was a huge freaking blast. I'm like 90% sure I'll go back next year.
Of note:
** Sat front row for Lord of the Rings with Billy Boyd, Craig Parker, and John Rhys-Davies (who I have loved for ever)
** Was yelled at by a 'ghost archaeologist'
** Sat curbside for the fabulous parade!
** Sat third row for The Walking Dead!
** Was deeply enamored by Steven Yuen and James Allen McCune (Jimmy)
** Was incredibly amused when the crowd asked of season 3 "Is Carl gonna stay in the house??"

For my final night, I'm crashing atdauntdraws' and then flying back tomorrow afternoon ... so I can unpack then pack for a work road trip Wednesday evening. GRR. rpf_big_bang! I need to really work on it and add a better ending (hah), but it is there!
