I've been claimed by a really, really fabulous artist! I canNOT wait to see what all they do with it :D Is it too early to admit which claim is mine? IDEK remember the etiquette on these things.
Randomly, my nephew had a school event on Thursday that I had to miss (bowling playoffs), but my mom emailed me with this summary: The kids made actual books ... his was about being chased by zombies. He dedicated the book to [my brother] who had a book about zombies when he was young but lost it! LOL.
I love that A) my 9-year-old nephew wrote a book about zombies for class! B) he dedicated it to my brother. C) he dedicated it to my brother who once had a book about zombies but lost it lololol. This is right up there with the 'all about dad' project my nephew had when he was in preschool and he said something like "my dad is really good at watching TV." He also had another assignment a few years later for Mother's Day that was fill in the blanks with "I wish my mom..." and he wrote "Nicer" and there's a picture of him frowning. LOL TOO HILARIOUS.
I think it's fun, too, that my brother and sister-in-law have a good enough sense of humor to keep all of these jewels posted up on the fridge (mostly so we can reread them and keep laughing).
