The Midwest is now buried in snow.
Monday night, I had just fallen asleep but woke up to the noise of the snowtrucks down on the street. And I saw the snow had started early.

Yesterday around 3ish when it really started to snow. You can't tell much but it looks so foggy/hazy in the air because the snow is blowing sideways.

When I left at 5pm, it didn't seem ALL too bad. Plus most of the City had already fled home. There were SIX PEOPLE on my train car when there's normally 30-40.

I got home nearly an hour later and it still didn't seem TOO bad, though it was cold as hell.

And then it started howlin' and the snow actually WAS FALLING SIDEWAYS.

Snow was whipped all across my balcony and all over my screendoor.

This morning, I was 5 minutes from leaving for work when I saw my boss had called, left a voicemail, AND texted that the trains were running on a Sunday schedule and I should stay home if I hadn't left yet \0/
And then I saw this and laughed hysterically.

The snow against the door is to my knees. The drift by the grill is to my hips O_O

And my parents' deck. That's a glider to the left and table and chairs in the middle, lololol.

SNOW DAY!
Unfortunately I actually have work to do.
GRUMBLEGRUMBLE.
p.s. I was watching Saved by the Bell for good ol' times and now
*Whatever, I was wrong on the name, but I bet that show stinks, too.
