spn_cinema and taking over as mods ;-) I mean, we really are doing the latter; the former, not so much.

This weekend I worked and slept and played with the kitters, and ended it all with THE WALKING DEAD. Which, there was a point about 2/3 of the way through where I thought 'If I wasn't watching this with my friends, I would ditch this show' and then WHAM! SHIT STARTING HAPPENING! AND OMG! LIKE! THINGS! HAPPENED!

I am SO SICK of Lori, and she's freaking dead, only on screen once in a while, but STILL. PLEASE. I hate this crazy!Rick storyline and I hate having to witness the flashbacks and for some reason, I was even more pissed off that they legitimately showed her. IDK what it is, but that character AND actress just really bugs me (I hated Prison Break with fiery fire), so seeing her again threw me off.

Then the Governor came back to attack and based on what was said on The Talking Dead, I kinda like that he wasn't trying to purposely take over the prison, but kind of give off a warning shot - an incredibly lethal warning shot, but ya know - to be sorta 'fuck y'all, I've got more toys than you'. I was not expecting Axel to die, I knew that Daryl would wind up coming back, I had never in a thousand years expected a zombie bomb (lulz), but all these things happened in a matter of minutes and it was mindboggling.

Speaking of Axel and The Talking Dead ... I find it incredibly interesting that he said on the show that he was told Axel was a serial killer and would take a hostage out into the woods. Based on the books, Axel is a sexual offender and rapes and kills Hershel's daughters ... my point is that, whether The People that Be planned on making Axel that way, or just wanted to shield the truth from anyone who could talk, Lew used that detail to inform how he portrayed his character and there were plenty of creepy moments between him and the women in the jail. If I had not heard from BFF's husband about comics!Axel, I would not find half of what he ever said as weird, but I was very leery listening to him be all nice to Carol last night. Very interesting!

Not so spoilery: Joe Manganiello was on The Talking Dead wearing a henley. I'm very torn. He's never done much for me, BFF kept going on about how hot he was and I just kinda shrugged, but a henley ... I kinda dug it.

The hard part about having friends who are into discussing shows and yet don't know about my online life is I have to censor and then don't find myself having much to input and they find that weird. For instance, they made a comment about something from The Following involving the fake!gay couple and I openly was like 'ohhh!' kinda excited and they asked me why I reacted that way and I was like 'oh, nothing, it reminded me I haven't watched the last two episodes, carry on.' And while discussing The Walking Dead, zombie outbreaks, and humans trying to survive, I kept thinking of fics I've read that I think my friends would find somewhat interesting, if not for the gay love and sex and mpreg going on.
