31 Days: SIX and SEVEN
Jul. 7th, 2013 03:39 pmI am back! I have significantly fewer bug/mosquito/spider bites than I had last year. Also considerably less sunburn. Unfortunately I missed one random part on my back right shoulder and that is quite red, but the rest of me is pretty good (aside from a massive hangover. someone bring me greasy food, please?)
My phone died yesterday so I only got one photo -- sunset on the Michigan side of Lake Michigan. So gorgeous.
In other news, here are days Six and Seven.

Five Senses
LOOK: I'm facing the rest of the apartment and it is kind of a mess from packing Friday and not yet unpacking today.
TOUCH: My big, blue chair beneath and around me. The laptop lapdesk. And the ground.
HEAR: Clacking keys, Shep making lil noises for attention, and Lucy's nails digging in and out of the top of my big, blue chair.
TASTE: Nothing, just my plain ol' mouth.
SMELL: Somewhat clean since I took a nice, long shower as soon as I got home. Except once in a while I swear I'm catching a whiff of fire smoke from last night's bonfire.
Pet Hates
Pet peeves, yes? Immediate answer is people I encounter on my commute. I know I've complained about this before, but seriously ... people walking too slow, people taking up an entire seat to themselves when they don't have to, people with roller bags, people who don't watch where/how they're walking, people with headphones on too loud, people who cut you off to get out of your seat and off the train, people who don't walk on the left side of the escalators ... I could go on.
Other random pet peeves: people talking too loudly in their cubicles at work, people not following through, when my parents tell me repeated stories even when I say they've told me already, when my brother and dad talk about bowling (funny, I know, since I'm a bowler, but they get SO IN DEPTH with every story, kill me), and most definitely at this moment: mosquito bites.
