I've Got My Hands Up So Take Your Aim

SO. A few years ago, I fell into mad love with Lee Pace thanks to The Fall, which is a beautiful, breathtaking, heartbreaking fantastical movie. So then I checked out Pushing Daisies and HOMG it was LOVELY.

Well you know what's even loverly? SUPERNATURAL/PUSHING DAISIES CROSSOVER! I'm in such an emo little mood right now (thanks hormones) but this has me capslocking and grinning like a loon. SIGH.

Coeur d'coeurs | lyra_wing | PG, Gen, 2,900 | Dean and Sam open a pie shop. | I just ... I can't even say how much I loved this. The opening line literally had me squeeing, and the scenes of Sam and Dean setting up the pie shop, running it, being DOMESTIC are happy-inducing. But then the final line just cuts into my heart :-D

Okay, so I just spent an hour compiling truly sad images of Jared/Sam dressing like a ray-tard. I've decided to do some good.

Okay, so here's the thing. timehasa_way went back and read some gen SPN stuff I wrote and she gave me awesome feedback that got me thinking on the 1.5 stories that follow them and I hadn't touched in a few months and hadn't figured out how to end. But then we talked it out and I have ideas and I'm thinking (in addition to everything else) I'm going to finish the fourth part soon because it's actually pretty far along.

SO, I'm reposting links to the first two stories and now posting the third one. It helps us all because A) I feedback to get 4 finished, and B) you get something new to read while I pound out spook_me. Sounds good?

1: Long Train Running: The Boys make their way to Chicago to investigate a series of train accidents. But it's not as easy as they thought it'd be, especially when they meet a girl who takes a liking to Sam and utter dislike to Dean. (13K)

2: Double Trouble: The Brothers Winchester find themselves investigating some freaky incidents at a day care in Missouri. Dean tries his best to avoid vulgarities while getting up close and personal with the education system, and Sam solves the case via crappy movies-of-the-week. (7K)

3: Can't Find My Way Home: When Andie has visions of Sam in rough shape and Dean loses track of his brother, they team up (to Dean's reluctance) to get him back. But things get complicated when Andie is drawn into the situation and is actually a key piece of the pie. (10K)

4: Stranger Things Have Happened: When Sam's listless over Dean's disappearance, Andie insists they go out on the road to track him down. (13K)

I don't remember everything in order, but I do remember the main parts I loved and hated and you all probably think I'm crazy for having the whole What. The. Fuck. post, but whatever. I'm here now.
