2. This YouTube comment on #1: For real, The Black Keys used one SIMILAR Zeppelin chord progression, and everyone takes a shit on the sidewalk, yet pop stars of the day like Nicki Minaj have literally made the same song five times and everyone dances to her mindless music without question.

EVERYONE TAKES A SHIT ON THE SIDEWALK. LOL Whoever came up with that??

3. Emailing with a guy friend about one of his friends that I happen to know, who is going through crazy women drama ... my friend starts his one reply with: It's so much drama in the LBC, let me tell you.

4. Raiders of the Lost Ark coming to IMAX!!!!

5. Pentatonix featuring Natalie Weiss covering David Guetta w/ Kelly Rowand When Love Takes Over

It's just noon and I'm already having one of those days where I want to swipe everything off my desk and bury my head in the sand to cry for the rest of the day. SIGH.

But here are two fun things to cheer me (and maybe you) up.

1: In the January Rolling Stone The Black Keys' Patrick Carney said "Rock & roll is dying because people became OK with Nickelback being the biggest band in the world, so they became OK with the idea that the biggest rock band in the world is always going to be [expletive]." In apology ... sort of ... he said recently "I didn't mean to single them out. It just came out. There's much worse bands than Nickelback ... maybe," he added in his half-hearted apology. When pressed on whether he is a music snob, Carney told MTV Canada. "I don't like bad music, but look, I've got a lot of friends and not one of them has a Nickelback record. I'm not a small minority."

LOL IDK but I love how he's such a shit.

Also, I tried googling Jensen Ackles Jared Padalecki hug and got a whole lotta pics that weren't hugging and many that weren't them two together, or even one of them at all. Way to go, Google. Way. To. Go.

Hiiiiiiiiiii!

I have had a cold/flu since Thursday and it's not as debilitating as the massive one I had in October but still not fun. In the days since I've been sick I: bowled insanely well, slept a lot, saw family, friends, had a hell of a time at the bowling alley's annual Super Bowl Party, broke even on pots/squares, and went to work. I probably got a dozen people sick in the process :-\

I also got addicted to the TV show Intervention, and probably need one of my own just to watch better TV LOL.

In the meantime, The Black Keys released the official video for their new single "Gold on the Ceiling" and it's EXCITING! BECAUSE IT'S A REAL ROCK MUSIC VIDEO! NOT JUST SILLY ANTICS LIKE THEIR PAST ONES. AND IT REMINDS ME I GET TO SEE THEM IN FIVE WEEKS*.

I especially love the moment at 3:06. Watch that and I dare you not to feel giddy (especially knowing that they're not BFFs, but just dig playing music together, are notoriously bad at communicating, and tend to go long hours without talking while on the road).

AND THEN I found this and cracked up through the whole thing. IT'S AWESOME.

OH! And the video for Howlin' for You is totally awesome and a fake movie trailer with some reasonable celebrities. It's also NSFW.
