I mentioned previously that I started SPN from the beginning. Season 4 felt like it took forever to finish; it was quite painful. I've never been big into the angel storyline, nor the drama of Sam drinking demon blood, and never cared for Ruby 2.0, so having to witness it all again really dragged along. However, I started Season 5 late Sunday night and four days later, I'm already in the back half (and this includes pauses to clean and do laundry and working late, etc). Like, I just keep going and going and going. Last night, I stayed up until nearly 1am watching (also doing laundry) and thought to myself 'I wish I didn't have to work tomorrow so I could stay up and keep watching.'
I don't remember enjoying Season 5 this much before. It was the first season I watched live ... and I've certainly rewatched some episodes over the years, but it just kinda flows for me right now. Then again, I absolutely adore Zachariah, we have the boys rebuilding their relationship, Jody, Lucifer, the Horsemen, and most importantly, Dark Side of the Moon, which gave me SO MANY FEELINGS yesterday.

And also ... after Mary gets off the phone with John, all pissy and angry, and Dean goes over to her to comfort her - "Dad still loves you. I love you. I'll never leave you." WEEEEEP - and then she offers him pie? And suddenly the light went off. THIS IS WHY HE LOVES PIE SO MUCH. BECAUSE HIS MAMA GAVE IT TO HIM WHEN THEY HAD SWEET MOMENTS. GAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
